Welcome to MAKEUPWITHSYLK. These Terms of Use govern your use of our website and services. By booking our services or using this website, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Services

MAKEUPWITHSYLK provides professional bridal makeup artistry services, including but not limited to:

• Bridal makeup application
• Bridal party makeup services
• Makeup trials and consultations
• Special occasion and editorial makeup
• On-location services within the service area

All services are subject to availability and may require advance booking, especially during peak wedding season.

2. Booking & Deposits

To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit is required. The deposit amount varies based on the service package selected and will be communicated at the time of booking.

• Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing
• The remaining balance is due on or before the date of service
• Booking is only confirmed upon receipt of the deposit and signed contract

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• More than 60 days notice: Deposit may be applied to a future booking within 12 months
• 30-60 days notice: 50% of total service fee is due
• Less than 30 days notice: 100% of total service fee is due
• No-show: Full payment is required with no refund

Rescheduling requests are accommodated based on availability. Please contact us as soon as possible if your plans change.

4. Client Responsibilities

To ensure the best possible experience and results, clients are expected to:

• Arrive with clean, moisturized skin (or provide adequate workspace for on-location services)
• Disclose any skin conditions, allergies, or sensitivities prior to service
• Communicate any changes to the bridal party size or timeline promptly
• Provide a clean, well-lit workspace for on-location services
• Ensure timely access to the service location

5. Travel & On-Location Services

MAKEUPWITHSYLK is based in Irvington, New Jersey and is available for travel. Travel fees may apply based on distance and will be discussed during the booking process.

• Travel fees are calculated based on distance and time
• Overnight accommodations may be required for destination weddings
• Travel fees and accommodation costs will be outlined in your contract

6. Photography & Image Usage

By booking our services, you grant MAKEUPWITHSYLK permission to take photographs during the makeup application process and to use images from your event (shared by you or your photographer) for portfolio, marketing, and social media purposes.

If you prefer not to have your images used, please notify us in writing prior to your service date.

7. Liability

MAKEUPWITHSYLK uses professional, high-quality products. However, we are not liable for allergic reactions or skin sensitivities. It is the client's responsibility to disclose any known allergies or sensitivities before the service.

We recommend a makeup trial to test products and ensure satisfaction with the final look.

8. Website Use

The content on this website, including text, images, and design, is owned by MAKEUPWITHSYLK and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without written permission.

9. Changes to These Terms

MAKEUPWITHSYLK reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
