Deposit: A $30 non-refundable deposit is required before booking. Payment accepted via Zelle and CashApp only.

Off-Hours: An additional $30 fee applies for appointments between 5-7 AM or 10 PM and later.

Courtesy: Please arrive on time. Minimize phone use during your application as it slows the process.

Liability: All brushes, tools, and products are cleaned and sanitized between every application. Please inform the artist of any allergies or skin conditions prior to application.

Booking Policy

Deposit Policy

A non-refundable $30 deposit is required to secure your appointment. Appointments are not confirmed without a deposit. The deposit goes toward your total balance. Accepted payment methods: Zelle, CashApp, or Cash (remaining balance only).

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Deposits are non-refundable. Clients may reschedule once with at least 24 hours notice. Same-day cancellations will result in a forfeited deposit.

Late Policy

Please arrive on time. A 10-minute grace period is allowed. After 10 minutes, a $15 late fee may apply. After 20 minutes, your appointment may be canceled and the deposit forfeited.

No-Show Policy

Clients who fail to show up without communication will forfeit their deposit. Future appointments will require a new deposit and may require full payment upfront before booking. Repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future services.

Travel Policy

On-location services are available upon request. Travel fees apply based on distance and location, starting at $30+ and may increase depending on mileage, parking fees, tolls, or early arrival requirements. A minimum number of services may be required for travel bookings outside the local area. Travel fees must be paid in advance and are non-refundable.

Off-Hour Appointments

Appointments scheduled between 5:00 AM - 7:00 AM or after 10:00 PM require an additional $30 fee.

Client Preparation

To ensure the best results: arrive with a clean, product-free face. Brows should be groomed prior to your appointment. Please limit phone calls during your service to avoid delays.

Sanitation & Liability

All brushes, tools, and products are thoroughly sanitized between each client. Clients must inform MakeupWithSylk of any allergies or skin conditions prior to service. By booking, clients agree to release Sylvia Atta-Gyamfi (MakeupWithSylk) from liability related to allergic reactions or skin sensitivities.

Photography

MakeupWithSylk reserves the right to photograph completed looks for portfolio and promotional use unless otherwise requested prior to service.
